Letrie blushed fiercely, blinking her green eyes self-conciously... She dropped her head so that she was studying her paws again, her face twisted with embarrassment.
"So you were okay with it?" she murmured, slowly looking at his chest but not his face. She thought for a minute then looked at his face, her eye gleaming with curiosity. "D-did you like it?" she stuttered, immediately looking away again, but still very, very ready to hear what he had to say.
There was a strange feeling in the pit of her stomach that was trying to tell her something, but... she couldn't comprehend.
Arcobaleno looked at Letrie."I...Yes,"he stuttered,"I did."He turned as his blush came back."Did you?"he said quietly. He lifted his head a little, ready for her answer. He tried looking at her eyes, but it was hard to do with her head below his.
Letrie looked at him strangely... So he did like it. She was so amazed at his answer, that she almost missed his question.
"Uh, um, well..." she trailed off, once again looking at her paws. When she grew tired of staring at the pink and blue paws, she looked back up at him, her eyes lustful. "Uh, yes I did." she murmured, still staring at him. She studied his face thoroughly before staring at his muscular body. For a moment, she was even lost in his beautiful, rainbow-colored wings. They looked so beautiful perched atop his brown back. She liked them and him. How much? She didn't know.
Letrie scooted near him again and placed her head on his shoulder, shivering at the touch. Was it supposed to feel that way?

Arcobaleno was kind of surprised at her answer. So she feels the same about me,he said to himself. He watched Letrie as he laid her head back on his shoulder. His eyes fell to hers. They were so beautiful. His eyes then looked over her pink and partially blue body. Before the color had made him want to be far away from her, but now it made him want to be as close to her as ever.He gently lay his head near hers."I love you,"is what he whispered so only she could hear.

Letrie blinked at this. Love? He loved her? She looked up at him, her green gaze startled. They hadn't really known each other all that long, but... something, and she didn't know what, in the pit of her stomach was screaming at her to say the same.
"I-I..." she couldn't say it, but she didn't want him to know that. She met his gaze with determination. "I like this." she whispered, pushing her head further into his brown feathers.
How can I feel this way?! I'm supposed to say the same. I know I feel the same, but... Her thoughts were interupted by that nagging in her stomach. She lifted her head off his shoulder and looked him straight in the eyes. Mustering up all her strength and determination, she spoke. "I love you."

Arcobaleno lookeddeep into her eyes as she said those words. He then let his legs relax as he lay down. His legs ached, and he had not let them rest until he heard those word.He looked up at Letrie."Lay down,"he said lovingly,"You must be tired."

To anyone else, Letrie would have said the complete and correct statement, 'Oh, how very sexist of you.', but she wouldn't say that to him... not ever.
She slouched down and let herself collapse, her legs aching from the race over. Suddenly she felt very weary and looked up at Acrobalenco, a little dazed.
"I'm... sleepy." she muttered, yawning. She let her pink and blue head fall onto his shoulder, blinking her eyes. "I'm gonna sleep." she said drowsily, her eyes drooping with sleep deprivation. "Acrobalenco?" she asked suddenly, seemingly aware.

"I looove you." she said droopily, not really even knowing what she was saying. She bobbed her up and down. "I looove you this much." she cooed, raising her forearms to try to show how much.
If she was awake right now, she probably would have never said that, but right now she was in a semiconsious state and she had no idea what she was saying.
"Thanks." she muttered, her eyes fluttering closed. With that, she let her head fall back onto his shoulder.
